Your account, password and two-step verification

Change your name or password, turn on two-step verification, and sign out other devices.

Open your account

Click your name at the bottom of the menu on the left.

Change your password

  1. Step 1: Under Password, enter your Current password and a New password (at least 8 characters, with upper and lower case and a number).
  2. Step 2: Click Change password. Other devices are signed out; this one stays signed in.

Tip: No password yet? Under Set a password, enter a new one and click Set password. If two-step verification is on, also enter a code from your app; otherwise do it within 15 minutes of signing in.

Turn on two-step verification

This means a stolen password alone cannot get into your business. We strongly recommend it for owners and admins.

  1. Step 1: Install an authenticator app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
  2. Step 2: Click Set up two-step verification.
  3. Step 3: Scan the QR code with the app (or type in the setup key).
  4. Step 4: Type the 6-digit number from the app into 6-digit code and click Turn on.
  5. Step 5: Save your recovery codes somewhere safe, then click I've saved them.

Tip: If your code is rejected, check your phone's clock is set automatically and use the newest code.

Good to know: Each recovery code works once and gets you in if you lose your phone. They are only shown once. To turn two-step verification off, click Turn off and enter your password (or, if you have no password, a code from your app).

Lost a phone or used a shared computer?

  1. Step 1: Click Sign out other devices and confirm.

Dark mode

Under Appearance, choose Light, Dark or Match device. You can also use the sun and moon button at the top of the page. This is saved on each device.
