Add products you sell

Set up retail items with prices and optional stock tracking for the till.

Add a product

  1. Step 1: Open Products and click New product.
  2. Step 2: Enter the Name and Price.
  3. Step 3: Optionally add a SKU (your own stock code).
  4. Step 4: To track stock, enter how many you have in Stock. Leave it blank if you do not track stock.
  5. Step 5: Keep Active ticked so it shows at the till, then click Create product.

How stock changes

  • Stock goes down each time the product is sold at the till.
  • It goes back up if that sale is refunded or voided.
  • To correct a count after a stock take, edit the product and change Stock.

Tip: Untick Active to hide a product from the till without deleting it. Deleting a product keeps past sales.
