Work the waiting list
See who wants a full day, email them when a slot opens, and track who got booked.
How people join
When a day has no free times, customers can click Join the waiting list on your booking page. They appear on your Waiting list with the service, any staff preference, the date they wanted and their note. You can also add someone yourself with Add to waiting list, for example after a phone call.
When a slot opens up
- Step 1: Open Waiting list.
- Step 2: Click Notify next to the customer. They get an email saying a slot may be free, and the status changes to Notified.
- Step 3: When they book, or you book them in yourself from Appointments, click the tick to mark them Booked.
Good to know: Marking someone as Booked does not make the booking for you. Book the appointment first. Marked someone by mistake? Click the undo arrow to move them back to Waiting.
