Set when customers can book
Working hours, holidays and the rules that decide which times are offered.
Set your working hours
- On your own: open Availability, tick each day you work, set the times and click Save.
- With a team: open Availability and click Set hours next to each person (the same as Hours on the Staff page).
Good to know: Opening times on your Business profile are only for show. Bookable times come from working hours.
How Bookwick picks the times to offer
A time is offered when all of these are true:
- It is inside the staff member's working hours, and the whole appointment fits before they finish.
- It does not overlap another booking, including any extra time before or after.
- The staff member has no time off or blocked time then, and no Google Calendar event if connected.
- The business is not closed that day.
- Any room or equipment the service needs is free.
- It meets your booking limits (minimum notice, how far ahead, daily maximum).
Tip: Start times are spaced by the length of the service. A 60-minute service is offered at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 and so on.
Holidays and closures
Customers say there are no times?
- Step 1: Check the staff member has working hours on that day.
- Step 2: Check they are assigned to the service (Services, Assign).
- Step 3: Check for time off, blocked time or a closure that day.
- Step 4: Check your booking limits in Settings, on the service and on the staff member.
- Step 5: On the Free plan, check you have not reached 50 bookings this month in Settings.
