How a customer books

  1. Step 1: They open your booking page or website widget and click Book now (or Book on a service).
  2. Step 2: They choose a service, plus any duration or add-ons you offer.
  3. Step 3: They choose a location (if you have more than one), a staff member or Anyone, a date and a time.
  4. Step 4: They enter their name and email (and phone, if you require it), and any coupon or gift card.
  5. Step 5: They choose how to pay, if you offer payment options, and confirm.
  6. Step 6: They see You're booked! and get a confirmation email with a link to manage their booking.

Tip: Customers can add more than one service to the same visit with Add another service. Coupons, deposits, repeat bookings and online payment are not available when several services are booked together; they pay on arrival, and the booking window tells them so.

When a day is full

If there are no times on a day, customers can click Join the waiting list. You will see them on your Waiting list.

Rescheduling and cancelling

Every confirmation email has a link to a Manage your booking page, where the customer can:

  • Reschedule: pick a new date and time with the same staff member. You can turn this off in Settings under Customer details.
  • Cancel booking: they can cancel any upcoming booking that is still pending or confirmed. The time is freed up straight away. Past bookings cannot be changed online.
  • Fill in any intake form attached to the service.

Good to know: You are emailed whenever a customer cancels or moves their own booking. Rescheduling follows the same notice and booking limits as booking online.
